  • > Head of Savings Operations

    Employment type: Full-time, permanent position

    Job Purpose & Scope

    Working closely with the Product & Proposition Director and wider Executive team,
    you’ll be responsible for all aspects of Savings Operations and Support. You’ll play a
    pivotal role in guiding teams to deliver controlled and compliant operations,
    implement efficiencies, define and raise performance standards, meet SLA targets
    and contribute to a wider business strategy.


    The role holder should mirror the Society’s desire to continuously improve the
    elements of the operating model, building on existing capabilities to ensure the
    capabilities meets the requirements of the business.


    Collaboration with the wider business, such as the Branch Network, Products and
    Compliance will be pivotal for success to ensure best in class service levels for
    Members, whilst delivering scale .

  • > Head of Legal & Company Secretary

    Employment type: Full-time, permanent position.

    Job Purpose & Scope

    The Head of Legal & Company Secretary is the Society’s senior in-house legal adviser and governance leader, acting as a trusted adviser to the Board and Executive while leading the Society’s legal capability and company secretarial function.

    The role provides high-quality legal advice, robust corporate governance, and effective Board and committee support, ensuring the Society operates within its legal, regulatory, and governance obligations while enabling strategic growth and change in a proportionate and well-controlled manner consistent with the Society’s risk appetite and values.

    Combining hands-on legal advisory responsibilities with oversight of governance processes and key stakeholder engagement, the role supports the Society in navigating legal and regulatory change, strengthening governance maturity, and delivering strategic objectives, supported where appropriate by external advisers.

  • > Mortgage Underwriter

    Employment type: Full-time, permanent position

    Job Purpose & Scope

    As a key member of the Mortgage Underwriting Team, the role is responsible for
    assessing and processing new mortgage and additional borrowing applications
    through to offer stage. This must be done in full compliance with the Society’s
    policies, procedures, and service level agreements, ensuring sound lending
    decisions that protect the Society’s interests.


    The role demands a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while
    maintaining operational integrity and regulatory compliance. The job holder will
    also proactively identify and challenge existing processes to enhance customer
    experience and drive business efficiency.
